Alright so i am about to order two Fi Bls!?!?!

and it is going in an enclosed trunk blah blah blah

I want 2 15s preferable but people say that it is bad for them to be enclosed (need more air?)!!!

or should i just go with 2 12s =(!!!!

the main question here is what type of trunk is it? is it a small trunk or a large trunk?

you can fit 2 15's sealed in most trunks. now, as for porting 2 15's in your average size trunk may be an issue and may cause you to have to reduce the amount of airspace available for the enclosure itself. that itself will not be good if you can't reach the recommended enclosure specs.

also, with the large amount of air space required for ported enclosure you may end up having to build it in the trunk.

if you're just going to loudness with ease of installation just get yourself a single btl 15" and run it off w/e power you were planning to feed to the BL's. it will be more than enough in a trunk car.

truthfully, 2 15's will make alot of panel/trunk rattle no matter how well you deaden it.

ugh this is tough cause one of the fi guys said it would be better to buy the Bls cause Btls are more for competition ya know?

also the trunk is big enough for 5 12inch sealed subs if that helps lol. (Dodge Intrepid)

you should get Q's if you say a BTL is more of a comp sub if run single compared to 2 BLs.. i run a 15BTL on 3k daily.. it could use more sound quality but srsly not a horrible sounding speaker. and if your weary about the sound quality of a btl i'd be weary about the sound quality of a BL, as they are slightly more geared towards SPL than the Q. iirc, they are basically the same speaker too.

Don't seal BL's...bad idea.

If you are set on a sealed box look into the Q's
