Few Questions

Alright, I am going to be running the 1000/1 for my 13w7. I believe the wiring that is currently in my car is 4 guage with a 100A fuse on it. Am I going to need to upgrade that wiring? To 0/1 guage?

Also do you think it would be wise to upgrade my big 3 or will that not be neccesary with the setup I will be running. My car is a 2002 Xterra

I believe once you get to 1000 watts you want to go to 0 gauge...if its true power at least..and with that amp it is. Make a big box for it because 1000 is a little shy of what that sub wants...I know for the 12" they say its perfect...even though my buddy had one with a 1000 on it and it also wasnt quite enough to really get it shining.

It would be a good idea to go larger, but you might be ok.

Install everything and then see how bad your dimming is. If you can live with it or it doesn't exist, then don't worry about the Big 3. But if there is dimming, then go ahead and do it in the largest wire you can afford.
