im referring to modifying your EQ and gain to match the new headunit output.. not familiar with the ms-8 but i assume you'll need to modify gain if the input signal is increased thus increasing the dsp pre out signal.

Not with the ms-8. Once it sees a clean input it does everything. Wipes out everything. It has its own pre amp

Tons of them. Woofersect is a nice place to find better products. Just stay away from the **** brands like boss, power acustic. Get the most real power you can afford.

I ran a 5ch in my 06 4 door Tacoma ...and mounted it behind the rear seat in the storage bin on the drivers side ...

Would help but not a must. Make it easy and just get a aftermarket Hu an be done.
