i now return you to your normally scheduled session...

this is about AVI not windows microsoft lolthis AVI is a canadian speaker company. i actually had a set of their mid basses in the mid 90's. the magnet was almost ast big as the woofer itself. at the time they were know as a loud speaker (like beyma is now)
No, im right...avi:p:

AVI is a higher-end SQ company and most of they're products are hand built in they're facility. Yes the prices are high but you get what you pay for. AVI has strict internet sales policies which is why you will not see the prices erode from "unauthorized" dealers selling at bargain basement prices. When I heard they're demo car at sema I was so impressed that i had to get them on board to help get they're name out in the US. We will be rep'ing for them in new england area very soon as well.

(oh, and sorry about the firefox problem...were working on it. in the mean time it only works in IE)

They've been around for quite some time. In the mid 90's you couldn't open an issue of CA&E without seeing a car featuring AVI speakers or subs.
aye i know a guy that finished either 2nd or 3rd at sbn with all avi mids and highs, soundstream amps and subs. was my installers first car without horns to do that well. they had another car done up (grand prix one was red other was white) only difference was the amps (lower power class car actually had more power lol) and the other difference was the way the amp racks were actuated. one opened in the middle and the other from either side. used to be pretty cool to hit a button on your alarm remote and have stuff move around lol.

Ive got a set of thier low end comps, which sound great. They make good quality products and are Canadian, which could acount for the higher cost.

I would assume most of the materials used to make the equipement was ordered while the canadian dollar was still low which would lead to high cost now.
