Electrical Upgrades

I am getting ready to order my system, but i'm not sure what i'll need as far as electrical upgrades go.

I will be running an eD nINE.1 at 1 ohm and a nINE.2 at 4 ohms.

That will be a total of about 1400 watts.

I figure i will at least need to do the BIG 3, but i was wondering if a second battery would be in store? i'm also not sure how the second battery really works, so if anyone has an explanation of how it's wired etc that would be awesome. Also what battery would work well if i do need one?

My car is a 1999 Mazda Millenia S and I'm almost positive it has a 110 amp alternator. will having a second battery put more strain on it?

Before the second battery you should replace your stock battery with a deep cycle. Kinetik or Powermaster are good brands. Buy the largest one you can fit under your hood. If you still have voltage issues then consider needing a HO alt or second battery.

i was looking at yellowtops. would that be solid under the hood?

will my alternator be able to handle charging both batteries? and what should i know about hooking the battery up?

isn't nearly the strain some people say. agm batteries (like kinetik) are easier to charge than wet cells. you wire the batteries in parallel.
