Electrical to run this amp?

I got my kicker 1/0 dual amp kit + rca's on ebay for 80 shipped. Very pleased...high quality wire.

And I also have Knu flekz for the big 3. Also very good wire.

IMO 40 feet for power....is a ton of wire. I used ~10 feet of knu for big 3. The run to my batt is ~17 feet. And the ground is 3 feet.

Although, you do need the big 3 too. I just got the kit, which was plenty for amp wire. Then bought some KNU 1/0 off someone here on the forums for 30 shipped for 13 feet for the big 3

Where did you get your alt, and for how much?

ah good idea, forgot about the classifieds! But yeah, I figure from battery to trunk ~25 feet to run it nicely maybe, not to mention i'll also be running quite a few batteries (between 3-6 until I get a couple kinetics I think unless I have extra $ for the kinetics right off the bat). so that and + the Big 3 I figure 35-40 feet will be fine, not to mention I don't mind having extra. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Car was bought used from some guy who couldn't afford the payments, the alt was already in there. Whether or not it's the stock I'm not sure, but dealer says it's 160a. Didn't ask brand or anything. yes, i was figuring just rca's as in sound, not in video, yes i understand that the video changes everything, which can be a b****..... i've had many problems with them running to differnt televisions around the house with the same video\cable connection.

nice showing, its good for starters. but if i was you either rap the wiring in electrical tape or wire loom, make it less um....yea..u get it lol:laugh:

Best part is our engine bays seem identical, so I can probably use the same points. except the spot you used for the engine ground, I think I have something obstructing it. Not quite sure though.
