yeah the alt is grounded also, have it on the ground to my d3400

i had 4kw on a stock 130 amp alt and two 240ps never went below 13.4 or so..

it shoulb be hitting way hardeg. i mean like them havocs should be begging for help.

measure output abd se if you are getting more power.

Take a multimeter. Can get one at walmart for 20$.

Set to ohm resistance. Put one end on the negative of your battery. Put the other end on your ground. Anything above 0.6 or 0.8 is bad

Try grounding your amp strait to the frame.

Problem is the Mechman. No way on a single 4500 you should be dipping into the 12s with a 370a alt. A single group 31 in the back would be sufficient if the alt is indeed pumping out 370a.

HAHA amp hours have nothing to do with your issue. You did not only have 65ah when you had 370a on tap under the hood.
