Electrical Experts with Alts and Batts.....

ok, so ive had some suggestions to upgrade my alt and get a bat....

Im on a budget, and Im hoping you can suggest something that will work with my system and my budget.....

I have a 2000 toyoto echo, stock alt and 12 v stock batt

im running 2, 15" DC level 4, (d2 subs 1000wrms each) and i want to wire down to .5 ohms,

I was told if I do this I need a new batt and amp is this true? or can i get away with bigger batt? better yet can some of the experts please help me figure out what the least amount of gear and money I will need to make this work

Depending on the amp rating of the stock alt, you can probably get away with doing the Big 3 and adding a medium size rear battery.
