^^ try it and see. I mean I ran my 2200d@.5ohm and my 4 channel at a 2ohm load per channel and with a stock 130amp and 2 g31's I never dropped below the mid 13's during normal play. During burps I would drop as low as 12.8 but thats it.. A HO alt is great if u can afford one but for my car the cheapest 200amp+alts are over $550 so I will stay under 3k for now..

If you are dropping to 13.5 you have nothing to worry about.

Below the standing voltage of the battery is where you should start to be concerned which would be below 12.5 volts

Very true, many new cars do not even charge higher then 13.5 these days.

If you're worried about electrical, I'd look to an amp that is more efficient. And an amp that is notorious for doing rated power efficiently (not hifonics). You get what you pay for, 2 amps may put out the same power, but one may do it with 50% efficiency, and the other may do it with 90% efficiency, less power going to waste. I didn't watch the vid, but if what ecrack said is true, not dropping below 13.5 with heater and lights on, I wouldn't not be worried in the slightest.

Hifonics BRZ 2400.1 and audioque 2200 are the same board (IIRC also same board as the new DC 2K).

I would never ever ever run audio-bling. That amp in the pics looks like it was put together by a 5 year old (oh wait that's who builds these things in China)

That amp will bang its A S S off alot better than what you guys are perposing to buy, and CHEAP! 90% of amplifiers are made over seas these days, im betting that more than half of the people on this forum have overseas speakers in there vehicles, let alone amps?? Ill put that Audiobahn amp up against any amp being perposed for the $3oo margin.Dont knock the brand unless you have tried it.Has anyone?The DT/HCT/HC/DJ are the top of the line , and not the entry crap.You want to go cheap, you get CHEAP.Thats my opinion.that amp is worth every penny being asked of, and I will not take less.You wont find one with this much power, and specs for this price.I have seen one pushing the S H IT out of 4 HCCA 15s in a Tahoe, and flexed the panels to hell:boink:

I will put my amp up against it. Lets see how that bling likes a .5ohm load with low voltage bet it want make it..
