Electrical a bit overated, no big 3

The voltage will dip with every bass note in a big system regardless of how big the alternator is. It just can't react fast enough to maintain the voltage. That's what batteries are for.
I was not referring to systems....general power demand where time is not realistically a factor.

The question was about alternator/regulator operation

this thread should be stickied. for the long time pro's it wont affect you and think this is all noob stuff (I would hope) but for the noobies this is a great example before they start spending tons of money on charging equptment.
