thoughs on the audison lrx 2.500

Will work great. 2 X 200 Rms, but PLENTY of power.

MLK165's will tear your doors apart with mid-bass, make sure to do everything you can to damp the doors, panel etc.

Recommend the tweeters mounted high in "A" pillars aiming at the windshield (I know its weird ....but sounds GREAT -BIG soundstage, killer depth, etc)

Works killer, we have MANY retailers doing that.

Will make a HUGE difference

Good luck.

Call Elettromedia-USA if you need anything : 1-877-567-3030

is that enough for the mlk 165's. I was thinking about putting 350x2 on them but i love audison amps and was wondering if this am would be a good match for the mlk 165's.I have a mtx amp that does 150x2 very underrated) but was told that will not be enough for the mlk's. Any help is appreciated, just want a good sq amp on these comps.

More is ALWAYS better..too a point. Dynamic headroom makes everything sound better.

But.....350 watts can start melting things (caps, Coils, PCB) if you a "Balls to the Walls" kind of guy.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

IF you listen to REAL music (and my guess is you do since you have MKL165's)

Under "Dynamic conditions -also called "Crest Factor" even if you were swinging

34.7 volts *301 watts into a 4 ohm load. With "Music" the average continuous watts would only be 30 watts. So NO biggee.

Then if you can afford it, go BIG! Bi-amping is another choice that works well too.

Also, dampening the doors (DynaMat, Second Skin, Hush Mat, etc) is a MUST.

That actually makes a HUGE difference, especially with our speakers.

Fs is 59Hz on ML165's. They will tear your doors apart. Rattle the shit out of them.

so will the 200x2 be enough or do i go for the amp that does 350x2. i will have my doors well deadened. Might have a great deal on the audison and i great del on the arc but not sure which to get

even though i've been told to put 300+ watts to the mlk's, i think i'll just grab the audison lrx 2.500 since i can get a good deal on it.I'm sure 200x2 will get the mlk's sounding good and i hear the audison amp is underrated too, so it should be plenty. Any other thoughts on this amp?
