but in general where are you setting your crossover settings?

I have a general idea on the subs 80hz

the tweeters above 2500hz

but on the 6 1/2. And the 5 1/4. Should I be putting them on the same range


or should the 6 1/2 be set a little lower and The 5 1/4 set a little higher

how high would you go on the 5 1/4

5.25 around 80-100
6.5 around 60-80

or do you set a top frequency stop

no, the mid plays just up to the tweeters range

how mines tuned, more or less...

tweets play from around 3k up
my 6.5s play from 80 to 3k
sub plays from 80 down

So it is ok to overlap the 6 1/2 and the 5 1/4

set 61/2 80k. To 3000

set 5. 1/4. 100k to 3000k

3 ways are usually like a 6.5, a 3 inch and a 1 inch tweet

you can overlap or you can send different frequencies to each mid. id just play around with the settings and see what sounds best to you.
