Dsp. Q number?

What is a good starting number for the Q for each band on a Dayton dsp

I have watched some videos and they start at 1.5.

It is at the users discretion. The Q is just a tool to help you really pinpoint a trouble frequency band or allow you to group many together. It can be used to really fine tune the EQ. A good starting point is what the manufacturer of your DSP has it set at by default.
