DSP Guidance

I recently purchased a 2016 Focus ST and chose the base package since I knew I would be gutting the sound system anyway. Well, I am getting a little impatient waiting for a dash kit to be made so I am considering options keeping the factory head unit. From what I have pieced together from this and various Focus forums, the factory head unit does some internal equalization at different volume levels. This has led me into the DSP world to compensate, needing I believe a DSP that can do "De-Equalization" of sorts. While this rabbit hole has presented a million questions, I have just a few for now that I am hoping you guys can help out with here.

This is the list of DSPs that I have found that do some kind of "De-Equalization":

Audison Bit One

Audison Bit Ten

JBL MS-8 (can only find used?)

Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.3

1. Are there any others I should be aware of?

2. From what I understand, after "De-Equalization", you don't touch the head unit volume again and you will need to use the volume control of the DSP, is this correct?

3. Is this about the only option?

Bit HD is on point. But be prepared to use the DRC for total volume control. It only DE-EQs the set volume. If yours is like mine leave it at 20/30 and use the remote. If you set it higher it will go back to 20 every time you turn the car off

Oooh, that does looks nice, but when does it come out? Seems to have been in the works for over a year now. Remember I am getting impatient as it is!

Helix dsp pro, Mosconi 6to8 and Arc PS8 are also great options. Audiofrog is coming up with one. Very anxious to play with a bit one hd tho.
Thank you for the suggestions, however, I am not finding that they can do the "De-Equalization" or am I missing something?

Long time no see Marc
I'm always around I just don't post much. I mostly give signs of life when I'm selling/buying. How are you doing Jim?

Sorry I should have paid more attention about the de-eq part. I don't know much about oem integration cuz I like older vehicles but personaly, a sony rsx-gs9 controled by a tablet is what I would do to keep the factory look in a newer car.

Good and you
