Hi, has anyone recently made an extension ribbon using a replacement male and female faceplate to headunit connectors. I have a real shallow din space and it seems all the shallow din mechless receivers are not great. I got an alpine ute-62bt that specs pretty solid I just wanted some feedback on relocating the hu brain and just mounting the faceplate and front hu chassis in the din space I have. Fear not I won't be doing the electrical just wanted to get feedback on the plan/idea
