Hi all, been around a while but mostly just reading..
I just bought an F250 with a factory CD/Radio unit that I want to replace with a Navigation unit. I have already tried replacing it with a factory ford nav unit but i am not happy with its function at all.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
What I want:
Touchscreen- the fewer hard buttons the better (no buttons would be amazing). In fact, if the entire unit was just one large touchscreen in the dash kinda like a factory unit looks like id be in love.
Good nav function- I like the nav in my 2010 Taurus, something similar to that would be ideal.
Bluetooth interface- I listen to a lot of podcasts on my drive to/from work, and would like to be able to talk on the phone hands free as well
Sirus/XM receiver- I have subscriptions for all my cars, my truck needs this as well!
Price-$400ish would be great
What I don't care to much about:
I wouldn't categorize myself as an audiophile, so I don't need to spend more to get the latest/most amazing sound and will likely never upgrade to more powerful speakers (maybe just replace the stock stuff when they show their age).
