Yeah I'm a supervisor at a company that builds cabinet doors, so mdf is no problem. This is just for daily and competition between the guys in the area nothing major.

have you considered the same length of the port running (straight) inside the box and ported to the left/right side (probably have to reduce diameter of port)? And what about a slot across the top parallel to the speakers, or at the bottom firing to the rear?
