Well, that will kill your stock alt eventually, its just too much current. It wont be a swift and immediate death, probly, so youve got a while to shop for a new alt.

You won't get 2600w rms from that amp, it's a bit overrated.

Might as well get one and be safe and than if you upgrade later, thats one item you wont need.. I upgraded my alt. before i got a 1000w amp.

I've run 2-3kw systems off a stock Nissan alt and decent Autozone battery (like 1000CCA) for years. A little dimming, probably getting some voltage drop, but it's not quit yet, and hasn't hurt anything.
