Was at a gas station a few weeks ago and some bag of douche pulls in with his rattling shit on kill and goes inside for several minutes. I went over and turned his $hit down. He had a strange look on his face when he finally came back out. And I finished filling my tank in peace....

lol i dunno about going that far.... do that to the wrong person and you might end up getting down or even stabbed by the owner of the car if he catches you reaching into his car... at least in california

LOL!! That's funny you turned his system down while he was in the gas station. I messed with someones stereo once. I was at an intersection and this small civic with a pioneer headunit was at the light to my left. I took my pioneer remote and began to change tracks and turn it up LOL. he kept grabing at the volumne knob, it was hella funny.

What's funny is that the people who are "against" bumping in public areas actually think they are "better" than the people who do it.
Here is the first mistake...don't be condescending toward the younger crowd who likes to slam their system in public. It's part of being young. I did it, and most of you probably did in your teens. As you might remember, if someone told me at 17 yrs old to turn it down, I would turn it up.

I never did it when I put my first system in my car at 15 years old. That doesn't make me better than anybody else but it does make me more respectful than people who do.

im a older guy, and I only hate when its like 2am and im at a stoplight with my child trying to sleep when im comming home from my parents. thats usualy when I knock on someones windows. but it doesnt happen often anymore most 16 year olds in my area are surprizinly mature

Suprisingly...at 17yo I dont bump going into malls, parking lots, going to the movies or near my house. jsut because i dont want to cause attention to my van and not to get jacked. You can only hear me if my front windows are down or if my rear windows all the way the back are open.

But I do admit to bumping coming back to the student parking lot at school after coming back from, it wasnt a problem until we got a new resource officer at school.

i wish this applied to smokers as well

It's illegal to smoke in bars/resurants/clubs,etc in the state of colorado.......or something like that.

And if you smoke outside, you must be 10 or 15 feet from the establishment.

Edit: After a little research, I found out colorado is the 13th state to have this ban.

I play music pretty loud around my area but a lot of people here know each other pretty well so they don't mind at all. But I still know what's too loud and what's a respectful volume. Driving near any high school before/after school is where you'll find the least respect for surroundings here.

I agree with not bumping in parking lots and residential areas, but I will not turn my music down just because I pulled up to a stop light...that seems a little stupid. Why even have a system if I have to turn it down every 5 seconds. I turn it down once I get near any houses, and I turn it down way before I pull into any parking lots cuz I don't want ANYONE to know what I have and jack my shit...but stoplights? ok first let me start off by saying that your a dumbass if you were bumping at the mall....you might as well take all your stereo stuff out and leave it on the curb with a sign that says FREE...someone WILL take it if you keep that up...I have no issues with loud music....I don't see how it's any different than a semi with it's jake brake on...or some retard with the fart cannon exhaust...as long as it's not stationary...i.e some one parked in front of your house...basically if your out in public you have nothing to ***** about...if it's bothering you inside your house is where I would have to draw the line....it's also no different when I pull up to the gas station and I am forced to listen to some really annoying country or r&b over the station loudspeakers...or when I go in the mall and they got that elevator music bumping....
