Its your antifreeze buddy.

When antifreeze burns..it smells like some raw *****. Check your heater core..and all the tubes that go to it for a leak..

you know what, when i got my oil changed the guy mentioned i was low on antifreeze..... ill check that out tomorrow. so you think the nest sitting next to my battery is just a coincidence?

if it was low you wouldnt smell it burning, only if there was a leak and it was dripping onto something hot and burning away. fill the anti freeze he should have done thatfor you at oil change or you could have told him too..just hope you dont have a family of mice living in your car haha

haha me too. although i keep my car pretty clean, havent seen anything like chewed or mouse droppings anywhere. my dad a long time ago had a mouse in his car and noticed things chewed and there were mouse droppings on the floor mats.

when i got the oil changed i got the basic service and they only fill the washer fluid and checked tire pressure. why would it be low if there wasnt a leak? ive never had to refill antifreeze in any other car ive ever had, besides the car i had that blew the head gaskets.

my friend and i test drove a cadillac one time that had the heater core broken, and when we turned on the AC it was the same exact smell... thats why im considering maybe something else is wrong. thursday my cousin is checking it out for me so shouldnt be a problem much longer.
