Design help

You've got about 3.6 cubes after .75inch wood displacement, 2 4" aeros or a single 6" aero is plenty of port area for a single 12
ok. well, i need 2.5 cubes for my 12'' bl. but i need the 2.5 cu ft within the dimensions i gave. and i want to tune it to 34hz, how long should the aeros be?

are you wanting to take up the entire area? with sub and aero displacement alone you should be down to like 3 cubes ish, and you could add bracing etc to lower it more and more, if you really want I could probably design it in sketchup for you

just use the aero calculator on their site for tuning length

no, i just want a 2.5 cube box that can fit into those dimensions, because those are the opening of my trunk basically. so, a box that can fit within being 30-32'' wide, 13- 13 1/4'' tall, and 15-20'' deep. but id like to have about an extra .5 so i can brace as needed (probably 1'' dowel rods). if you could sketch me up something thatd be awesome, ive been trying to get this box going for a bit now.

thanks!

Pick two dimensions you want, I suppose you pretty much need the 13" tall if you want sub forward or back, would you like it to take up the full 32" wide?

Also, which direction are we facing sub/ports

the 13'' ill have to keep, thats as tall as it can be to still fit into the trunk.

and id like to keep the depth as short as possible for room, so i guess the wideness will have to be messed with, but i cant go any longer than 32.

shit, my bad i forgot to put that in the last post. sub firing towards cabin, ports firing to the drivers side wall. or any configuration you can think of besides sealingoff the trunk that will be a little louder that sub back port back.

I'll have a design for you ina few hours I have to go to class

i had a bit of time to just finish doin it, thats with a 6" aero, which is plenty

ill be back later to answer any questions you have about it, depending on aero length, you'll have at least about 2.5 cubes, up to 2.7 cubes dpending on how short the aero is

thanks!
