Deicent comp set

Thanks for all the positive comments guys.

You think that 400rms to the pair on an overrated amp would be too much for them?

just set the gains for 150watts rms per side and have control over the volume knob and you will be fine.

my amp can do just over 205 per side so i have over 410 total at my disposal and i'm fine.

Alrighty, thanks. I doubt I'll sell this ma audio 1889i (although its mono block), but I'm safe to wire it up to them (with no lpf or anything on), I just won't have left/right, correct?

isn't that a mono subwoofer amp?
if yes, then no.
lol, yeah ( I feel really nooby now, but I gotta learn one way or another)

What would be wrong with it, I can turn the filters off and use the headunit correct?

it's a mono block subwoofer amp which means it only plays bass frequencies, and will only have one channel. so both the left and right side would play the exact same things at all time. so it would simply be mono not stereo like it should be.

so you will need another amp.

I'll have to use the old audiovox amp I have lol. Its from like 1993 or something, but puts out the same.

I'm pretty sure that the ma amp will play other frequencies though (not positive though, which is why I'm asking). Besides left/right, I think it'll work...

I'll hook it up to the sony's and see how it goes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif lol
