decisions, voltage drop need a lil help

alright so i did the "big 3" and now im still havin a voltage drop when it hits the low lows, so which should i upgrade first the battery or the alternator?

My setup is

BIG 3

2 FI BL 18's fully loaded

audioque 2200D

1/0 wire everywhere

Optima RED TOP

Alternator. Unless you have a really shitty battery, then get a decent battery.

How many watts are you running?

140A * 13.8V = 1932W * ~80% Efficiency = ~1550W

maybe, maybe not. i have a 135amp and i get voltage drop w/ ~ 2200watts. why not a 200 or 220?

Guessing around 2200 RMS. Personally I'd go with a bigger alternator. Go with a 200-250 amp alternator. I had a 130 amp alternator stock in my truck but decided to go with a 250 amp in case i upgrade sometime.

Im only running it at 2 ohms because I cant wire them to one ohm? so im probly gettin like 1500w tops

anyone figure out a way to bypass 2 ohms on a dvc config and get to 1 ohm>?

im guessing your subs are dvc 2ohm since youre running a 2 ohm final load. heres a diagram to get .5ohms

with box imp rise wired too .5ohm you wouldnt even see .5 at the amp would you?
