after doing some research i have learned that caps basically do nothing but i have one and my car is not worth buying another battery or getting a new alternator. So do i mount the cap and connect the ground to the same point that my amp is grounded and then put the lightbulb or resistor between the power wire and the positve terminal and when it turns off disconnect the bulb and put the power wire on the postive terminal and then connect the wire coming from the amps battery terminal to the cap? I just really dont want to **** up my amp royally.

dunno i dont have any money left for car audio till im out of college but i have this cap sitting around and about 6 feet of 4 gauge around and thought why not. Im waiting to upgrade battery and alternator for my next vehicle

just run your + and - to the crap then run + and - to the amp.... but it really isnt going to help anything just band aid shit
