The only realistic way I see of truly measuring/comparing these products beyond what Don has already done with the sound deadener showdown would be to install the products in otherwise identical vehicles and then take measurements. And even then the results may be hard to measure.

I think Don's test and foxpro's explanations of the math and science behind the products and theories of sound deadening/absorbing should allow us to form pretty educated conclusions already.

Yeah. Side by side real-world comparisons with these products are very difficult. That is exactly why so many companies like eD and fatmat are able to market/sell an inferior product and get away with it.

eDead is not "deadener" if one is to define the conditions for a product to be called such a thing. In ca.com lingo, those that buy it thinking it is = epic fail.

He knows already. He's read the deadener threads before. Its an act he likes to play out here all the time. At this point he will either reply with some vague form of acceptance of the truth about eD, or he will slink away and stop responding to this thread even though we both know he's still reading it. Either way, next eD thread that pops up he'll be right back to regurgitate the same tired eD excuses and pretend he has no idea the truth about eD is so ugly.

still here, and i plan on doing a review on both, and we will see what happens. that test done by rudy is old and should not be used as a reference anymore.
