Are you stoned? You must be.edead for quality and affordablility, and ignore that test that was done like 4 years ago lol, shits changed and improved
So I guess I shouldn't have used any deadener then on my front doors is what you are saying?I still don't understand people. Just because it's magically sticking, means it's doing what it's supposed to.
Plain and simple, it is NOT as effective. Fact.

Dynamat Extreme is just as effective as Damp Pro. Also just as easy to work with. Yes, Damp pro has a slightly thicker foil layer and slightly (not much) thicker butyl layer but I can guarantee your ears wouldn't tell the difference. Those 2 products are very close.Get Damplifier pro and call it a day.
Less layers = less work. I'm am still impressed EVERY time I install only 1 layer of Damplifier Pro on a customer's car... and how much of a difference it makes.
Other brands may be cheaper, but you will need to double up to make the equivalent of the Damplifier Pro...

I still don't see where the average person would hear a difference. Fact is, any deadening on a vehicle is better than NONE at all. So someone going from a new car to deadened new car wouldn't tell the difference between mediocre or GREAT deadening.Incorrect.
Regualr Damplifier Is on par with Dynamat Extreme. Damplifier Pro destroys it.
Damplifier
.45 lbs psf
4 mil foil
Dynamat Extreme
.45 lbs psf
4 mil foil
Damplifier Pro
.65 lbs psf
6 mil foil
The "slightly thicker foil layer " you mention is actually 50% thicker. This makes a huge difference in performance. So does the exta 30% adhesive Damplifier Pro has.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Dynamat fanboi. I actually wished I had gone with Damp but I got such a GREAT deal on the Dyna EXt that I couldn't pass it up. And I have to say I'm pleased with the results.
What exactly is your point? You say your ears probably wont hear the difference, yet the Damp Pro is a better product, for less money. Regular Damp is on par with Dynamat Extreme for ALOT less money. Your ears may not notice the improved performance, but your wallet WILL notice the difference in price.I still don't see where the average person would hear a difference. Exactly as I stated in my other post. It was a value to me because I got it at a GREAT price. Therefore it WAS a good value to me. However, I also said that I was going to go with Damp Pro if hadn't got such a good deal. Now, what is your point??Nobody is suggesting DE is a bad product, but we are suggesting is far from a good value. I dont see anything you've said, factually, that refutes this.

My point is you say its just effective, when even you admit its lacking. Even your follow-up reply to Ant is about the 'average person' not hearing the difference. Uhm... even if you think people wont hear the difference, say it with me.... its still cheaper.I still don't see where the average person would hear a difference. What are you dense.?? I said that the avg person wouldn't notice a difference. Then I said don't get me wrong I'm not a hater on Damp Pro but I got such a good deal on Dyna Ext that it was actually cheaper for me at the time or otherwise I would have went with Damp. Not really sure where you got all confused or why you're dragging it out but just let it go.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifMy point?

That is my point... that yours makes no sense, as your super great deal on an inferior product really means nothing to the 'average person' or what they should buy. But thanks for your input.
Even after Dyna's inferiority has been explained to you, more than once, you still 'fail to see how its inferior'.... and you are asking me if Im dense? lol! Let me spell this out for you and any other extremely slow individuals who might be reading.... thinner foil AND thinner butyl equals.... inferior product... for more money. What are you dense.?? I also fail to see how Dyna is inferior. It's not as good of a value but is in fact a good product. It's kinda like the JL Audio of deadening. Sure you can find just as good for cheaper but JL still makes good stuff. Same applies. Thank you and good night.
This is you: "Dyna is thinner and has less foil, but I fail to see how its inferior. I got a super duper deal on Dyna, lets go tell everyone!"I also fail to see how Dyna is inferior. It's not as good of a value but is in fact a good product.
