Dd9512 and orion2500d questions.

The only things you should really set on the amp are LPF, SSF, and gain. I never touch any kind of bass boost or eq crap.

I wouldn't say all knowing, but I do install/work for a shop so I'm around all this A LOT.

thats the crossover slope, i use 12 on my orion amps. you can use 24 if you want though just dont use full. why not turn your bass on the head unit at least up to 0 or more dont leave it on -8

just so you know also if your planning on getting that other sub and running at 1 ohm you will need to upgrade your electrical system like get a bigger alternator n maybe extra battery(s) if you ever wanna sell that amp or do a trade just pm me

Okay, did everything yall suggested, I still feel like i could get a bit more out of the system, would it be okay to put the bass at 0 but on the HU turn the SW to like +7, and if so how do I make sure that the songs that hit REAL low don't cause speaker damage? Cause right now the songs sound pretty good with +7, but then on the songs that have low bass it sounds like the speaker is pushing too hard lol

yes i have a kenwood excelon deck and my subwoofer output is at +9 and it goes up to 15. the subsonic or hpf is what will keep your sub from distorting too much on low frequencies. it blocks them.
