CTS sub upgrade

I plan to upgrade the stock sub for my 06 CTS. The woofer is in the rear deck. I'll need a free air sub to replace it. It's a 10'' woofer. ANy advice. I looking at those shallow mount woofers. Has any you guys use those woofers in a similar setup?

My roommate has an 03 CTS with that 10" sub in the reardeck, you can't just install an aftermarket 10" sub in there because 1. it may not fit into the hole and 2. it's gonna rattle. Not all 10" subs have the same mounting diameter. You gotta do something to strengthen the reardeck then sound deaden the metal panels.

What amp you have to power the sub? The factory audio system in those cars kind of sucked for what it is.
