Crossover Wiring

How would you go about wiring a crossover to a head unit which only has a rear preamp out put? Line Converters? If so would i need a special one?

what is the crossover and what headunit? some xover have a parellel input which would allow only 1 set of inputs, and then 2/3 outputs

The headunit is a kenwood kdc2025 yes i know cheap haha. I havent bought a crossover yet im just gathering information lol. I have kicker ds 3.5 and 6x9s already and 2s8l5 on the way
