Crossover question

I have my boston z6 mids hooked up to my z6 crossovers and then to an rf amp. each mid is gettin about 190w rms. i dont know if this is supposed to happen but the louder i turn the volume up or if i adjust the XO's at higher volumes the fuse inside the XO lights up. It gets brighter with more power or more tweaking. Weird thing is, only one of them does that and the other it takes a bit more. Is it supposed to light up or not? My volume is at about 59 the most out of 80 on my Eclipse 8443 so I know i can get it up to 65 without it distorting but it just lights up and I dont wanna ruin the XO's.

It's not a fuse, it's a light bulb. It's there to protect the tweeter. The more power you send the more the light bulb soaks up. This is power that would likely blow the tweeter. As to whether it should light up or not...the designer of the crossover put a lightbulb in the design, I'll leave the rest to you.

I just found out yesterday that as you said its a lightbulb and its for the tweeter. I dont have the tweeters hooked up, just the mids. so would it be okay if it came on and stayed on?

Ah ok. Should I just take the bulb out so it doesnt get hot to the point where it heats up things around it?

Also, I realize one of the XO's (the same one with the light issue) is having some problems. I had incorrectly connected the XO's but after doing it the proper way I was testing out the mids. I had the gains up maybe 3/4, and one XO was fine but the other started smoking. The first pic is the XO that is fine, and the second pic is the one that got smoked. This is the only difference I saw.
