Crossover Quesstion ?

I am having a problem finding a spot to mount my Diamond Audio M6 crossovers. How far can they be mounted away from the mid and tweeter ? I am thinking of mounting them in the centre console. Would this be okay ?

Not to far, but the center console seems far to me.

I doubt it would make an audible difference

They can be mounted anywhere you have room..........near or far from the speakers, it makes absolutely no difference.
