crossover placement?

hey im gonna be installing my comps soon and i dont have room to install my xovers into my doors. so i was wondering does it really matter where i put them? im thinking of putting them under each front seat or maybe in my dash cause i have like a lil cuby hole that they can fit into. lmk thanks

It really doesn't matter where you mount them as long as they aren't going to get damaged by water, feet, etc... You can install them in the trunk with your amplifiers as well. It just means having to run more/longer speaker wire.
