crossover and eq confusion help please

i have a p4000dvd double din with 2 pre outs and want to go active and also use my 9 band eq

i have a KEC-202 crossover and KGC-6042A 9 band eq

would i be able to use them both?

incase you need to know i am running three 2 channel amps one for tweeters one for mids and one for sub

I don't know much about Kenwood, but from the HU into the EQ into the xover.

i may be wrong but i think you need front pre outs rear pre outs and a sub pre out to go active, i dont think it you can with just 2 sets of pre outs.

i can as the eq only uses one input and splits the signal the problem is going from the eq to the crossover and the crossover only has one input

do i have to run the 3 outputs on the equalizer i am using together into one on the crossover

HU to eq to xover input then the xover has 3 outputs sub, mid and highs, sub output to sub amp input, mid output to mid amp input, high output to high amp input.
