Critique my new set-up please.

Hey guys, was just wondering if you guys can critique my new set up.

Application: 97 Supra

Sub: DD 1508 in a ported enclosure

Amp for Sub: Alpine PDX 1.600

Mids + Highs: Morel HiFi DOTECH MKII 6"

Amp for Mids + Highs: Alpine PDX 2.150

Headunit: Alpine CDA-9857

Nothing is set in stone except for the sub.... so if you guys got other suggestions.. please let me hear them.

Please let me know if you guys need anymore information.

Yeah I'm not an Alpine fan either, I would say Pioneer myself. But to each his own, def. not my cup o' tea, but if that's what he prefers by all means go for the Alpine.

The amps seem to be descent, but stay away from the head units. Go pioneer or eclipse...

But yeah...that would be about the only thing I'd change. The Alpine isn't great, but since you're going passive it shouldn't matter too much.

I don't know, maybe they changed their entire philosophy with the 1508...but something tells me they didn't.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments...

I went with Alpine because I had a good deal on them... Most likely the only thing I'll change is the HU..

One of the Pioneer Premiers will replace it... Haven't figured it out yet...

I'll also give the DD a try.... I listen to mainly Rap/Rock... and from what some of you guys said.. hopefully my Rock music will still sound good.... (again how bad do you think it will make rock sound?)

As for the car itself.. I have no current pictures, or great pictures... It's stock bodied...

Mods are:

BPU (Downpipe, Exhaust, Boost Controller, Boost Gauge, GReddy BCC, Intake)

Tein SS

CCW Wheels

I figured I would go for speed.... lol, so I scrapped the whole system.. going with something much lighter now, and I will also be upgrading to either a Single Turbo this summer, or modded twins.
