My response is politically correct, but it's a retarded idea.
ok this is what im leaning towards, although i have no idea where im supposed to get money for it but at some point in the future something like this may end up getting built.
this would be absolute high end IMO:
25 mm Scan Speak ring radiator supertweeter
7 khz
38 mm Scan Speak dome mid-tweeter
4 khz
3” ATC dome upper midrange
2.2 khz
6” Beyma Neodymium mid-midrange
800 hz
10” JBL Pro lower-midrange
200 hz
18” JBL SFG bass
120 hz
-------------------------
// on the rear side of the speaker, because no room is left on the front
Two 18” Beyma CP1000 series drivers, low-bass
60 hz
Subwoofer ( depending on size of room, love for bass and SAF this can vary )
-------------------------------
note1: accuton tweeter not used due to low efficiency combined with mediocre power handling. raven or equivalent not used due to poor vertical dispersion
note2: you may question the need for such an extravagant arrangement but i have good reasons to believe that this is the approach that will result in least distortion, compression, smoothest response and dispersion ... in other words the approach that will provide most satisfying sound.
