Craziest system on stock ALT!!

2000wrms in a 2k2 honda civic (70Amp alt) with a regular lead acid batt in the front and a c&d tech batt in the back. No dimming at all, but I'm sure there are voltage drops

so will i be ok with a zx1500 and zx850.4 roughly 2200rms on stock 130amp alt, big 3 done, stock gold duralast 1000amp upfront and a run of 1/0 pos and neg to back battery stinger spv70

wat kind of drops could i be seeing and whats a battery to look to buy for the front

a stinger one that fits in the location. its good to have batts that have the same charging rate in the car from what I hear

whats ur voltage drop?

I drop to about 12.5 from 13.7 in the crx. In my integra with the alt in it would sit at 14.7 and drop to around 12.5-12.7.

thats pretty close to what im running and i dont get any light dimming either. The only diference i notice is it takes longer for my batteries to get back up there and they dont go over 13.8.

edit: I just noticed you were running them at one ohm thats probably quite a bit more current draw than mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

hondas have like 60a alts.Bigger trucks/suvs have like 120a-140a alts.

so some stock alts can run alot more power than others, ur question isnt very well though out

Some stock systems draw more power than others and need bigger alts but in reality don't have the capability to produce more current than a car with a smaller alt and smaller demand on electrical.

im running a brutus 1606d at .5 ohm on my 15'' re mx...

stock electrical except big 3.

amperage at idle is 13.8

amperage at full tilt 11.1 lol

It was just a general question, its not like I spend all day thinking about this post and making sure it passed approval. And like Alpineforever said bigger trucks have bigger alternators not so you can put more aftermarket gear in, but because they have higher electrical demands, and the little Honda Civic has a smaller alt cause it does not demand as much. But I'm sure you knew that. So its kind of relevant, but I guess you wanted to get technical. And my Honda Accord has a 110 amp alt....
