CR-V EX-L new build

I currently have all factory setup up in my suv. This is my first car and my first sound system so I wanted to hook it up because I saved for the system. I don't want to spend to much on the sound system and dont want to go over 1,500-2k for the system. I was looking at these 2 parts so far

I really like JL audio but I dont want to spend like 1k just for my subs and box. Are these any good?

What are ur goals for the system? SPL really loud Or SQ loud and sounds good...?

I want SQ, listing to rap and rock is fine up high but I dont want my sub missing notes or sounding rattly

I dont know where to go as far as speakers so I'm open for suggestions, I listen to alot of rap and rock if that helps.

Stray away from JL if you want to save money. Those subs do sound nice sealed though.

You don't need a cap. Notice a weakness in your electrical system, then upgrade your battery or alternator, don't waste your money on a capacitor.

Never used that particular unit, but Clarion makes some decent HU's. Good choice on the amps, can be had for a good price.

Never heard JL fronts/rears but I'm sure they sound alright. May want to go with Rainbow, Hertz, CDT, Focal, more proven speaker brands that will certainly satisfy you.
