You could get a plate amp and an RCA to headphone cord into your comps regular speaker output plug, it works and is much cheaper.I want to make a sub box with maybe a 10" sub in it. Does anyone know how i would hook it up to my computer? Would I need an amp?
how much would this be. I have about $100 limit. You could get a plate amp and an RCA to headphone cord into your comps regular speaker output plug, it works and is much cheaper.
$5 or $200, a digital out is a digital outYou'd need a sound card and a reciever.
The Creative X-Fi Platinum has an optical out to any reciever, something like a simple Harmon Kardon AVR reciever should work. The Chaintech AV-710 is an alternative as well, but I think that is only for 2.1 setups.
Both above mentioned are PCI sound cards.
of all the subs on PE u picked the ugliest, shittiest sub on thereok what obout this for the sub?http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=290-724
