Walling off my car, part 3 (the rebuild)

Don't flame me for another thread... just keeping things organized. I am going to be tearing down the "wall" in my back seat probably today... going to rebuild it thanks to a lot of suggestions.

Was going Baltic Birch, but the price is too much for a build that I'm not 100% sure is going to be what I need. Grant came up with some awesome plans, and Justin Thornton and TommyK threw in their 4 cents.

No one likes a top port, but I'm going to try it out. I figure it's worth a shot, and if I did a bottom port my center console would be blocking it. Everything will be glued together with TiteBond II this time.

I just dropped off the cut sheets at a local cabinet shop... $160 for all the wood and ALL the cuts, including the sub holes and angles for the angled inner brace. Going to get perfect cuts... which will be a relief to work with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and if you ask about the angled inner piece, justin (teamsubgopoof) said that, and the fact the seats are in front of the subs, will both help the subs load better.

i cant remember what thats called, but it works in HT as well.....sort of equalizes the pressure between the front and back wave or something...
