It's just the way my case is laid out. I talked to Corsair in detail about it, they were cool. I knew I was going to mod this case before I bought it. I just like the simple look of the case. You think this case is modified? You should've seen my Exploder hahahahahahaha

I see that now. My case has room for fans/rad/coolant reservoir on the back walll/motherboard tray
