compnent crossover location question

is their any disadvantage to having the crossover under the driver and passenger seats and then 5' of wire on each side going to the tweets and mids? I dont think it would cause any problems but I just thought I would ask

You wont notice a difference. Under the seat will be fine.

Just so long as they are not in a location where they run the risk of getting wet or excessively dirty.

I know a lot of people have both of those problems with under-seat mounted equipment. Lots of dirt collects under there, and wetness from shoes can easily get under there aswell.

i dont think u would notice a difference, but like stated, they would stay cleaner and less likely to be damaged, behind the door panel
