no questions come to mind, but i have had a few people tell me it sounds like a concert in my car.

well actually, i get people asking my how it sounds so clean and clear.

i respond saying it's a side affect of having a lot of power, and headroom and a decent tune/EQ.

you dont
your house is run with 12ga wire (solid copper) at that and your sundown doesnt put out more than 120v, i can guarantee you that

BUT

i use 8ga wire too.

lol, I got the same thing a while ago when I was running a single 12" Kicker CVX on 750 watts, I beat a guy with a new 13W7 and 1000/1. I beat him by 2db's and he was so pissed that I had a lot less than him and was much louder. Not to mention over a thousand le$$ in gear.

when i say im running 4,000 watts to my subs, all i get is "yeah.. but what does it REALLY put out", my answer "umm.. 4,000 watts"

"what kind of subs are those?!?" (then i take them for a ride)... "where can i get those!!!?"

around here when people ask what i have, 90% of them have no clue what brands I am saying. If I dont say Kicker, SPL, or Power Acoustik, people are like "umm yeah, probably junk"

Had a situation like this over the summer. I went in to get a price RCA's and the rep (kid in young 20's with bluetooth earpiece and Roadshop badge) goes "What amp you runnin?" I go "Uhh...audioque 1200D." Then he raises his eyebrow like I replied in a foreign language and he goes "auu-dio....Q?? How many watts?" I go, "I'm running it at 1ohm, so about 1200" Then he goes, "Wow...that's a lot! You got a capacitor?" I respond by saying "No, I just upgraded wiring under the hood and got a new battery upfront. I'm fine with it." Then he nods his head and says "With that much power almost ALWAYS you need a capacitor. Haha wow. I'm in this situation right at this current moment. My friend keeps telling me "Dudeee...help me put together a system! I got $800 to work with so we should be good!" I'm like, "Okay sounds good enough, I'll do some research and help you out."

After about like a day or two of research, and when I finally send him a list of stuff he should get/look at, he goes "Uhh...I think I'm getting a lift kit and off-roading tires." I'm like "**** dude, look into this first man, you won't regret it."
