Cleaning A Sub

I was wondering what kind of solution/procedure one uses to go about cleaning subs...

My Onyx have aquired a good bit of dust on them and the paper cone shreds paper towels... I dont want to damage them with a liquid... compressed air or what is the norm?

i think someone used wd-40. maybe use a micro fiber towel.

i use windex on mine. :/

i wouldn't use WD-40, it has petroleum distalates in it. I use a clean shop rag and mist some armor all on it. never have had a problem

Armorall, Windex, Quick Detail, whatever on a Microfiber towell

If it has a rubber surround, wouldn't windex dry it out and make it crack over time?

What if the surround is already drying out...is there anything that could condition it? like a vasoline or soemthing?

The surround is foam btw

I've found a mixture of bleach, mineral spirits, paint thinner and gasoline with steel wool works best

I put it in the oven and turn it to self-clean. That way I can surf pron for two hours while my sub cleans.

I used some orange household cleaner. Sprayed it on light,and wiped it right off.

As far as I know theres only 3 of us with Onyx on here, Me, the guy that got yours, and that guy thats got 1 LS 12 and didn't know what it was

I have the 2 LSX 15"s, 1 LS 15" and 3 LS 12"s
