2 ohms or 4 ohms

So when i build my system... to cut down on price and raise power, should i get a 2 ohms impedance component system so I can buy a cheaper amp to power them?

If you are going to match 2 ohm impedance comps to an amp that powers them adequately at 2 ohms, why not?
