Choosing a Subs for my truck HELP PLEASE

Hi guys

I have a 1996 Ford explorer I just install my High amp and speakers. Now its time for the bass and I am having a hard time choosing whats sub or subs should i run in my truck. I want something that gets loud but can have some sound quailty I know everyone has there opinion but I only have 500 to 550 to spend and thats including a amp. HELP PLEASE????????????
