Choosing a college

It's never too late to go back to college. Especially if it's going to pay you that much extra and be something you love to do. I'm one of the few who was able to determine something I loved early on. I was always into aviation in some way, and with the massive growth of unmanned aircraft I knew what I wanted to do.

In my personal opinion, the fact that we have to take out loans to begin with is absolutely ridiculous, let alone WITH an interest rate. Those who go to college are shown over time to earn more money, and with that they'll pay more taxes. Making students take on excess debt because they want to advance in life is illogical, it limits the capability of people to do extraordinary things with their lives. I have no doubt I'll pay back the government in taxes what my loans are, and I'm going to be a more productive member of society. I'll end my short rant there lol

hell i'm 40 and still don't know what i want to do lol, from the time i was 17 to 27 i was all over the map, i am also the type that gets board easy and always needs a challenge and change of pace. the worst jobs i had were the ones where i was stuck in one place all day, i always like being out in the field going from job to job working on something different all the time. but that's just me, if i were you i wouldn't listen to me i never finished the 10th grade lol, but seriously a friend of mine was going thru a similar dilemma and he decided on electrical engineering and he loves it.

College tuitions have gone skyrocketing up...

And I'm willing to bet a lot of them drop out because they simply cannot afford them anymore. Blame Obama? Hells yeah. He keeps saying for Americans to get a better education.....well how so when the rates go up??!!

I went to a community college myself back in 1997. Cost? Around 2 grand.

Congrats, what is your gpa, sat and act score. I was gonna recommend u of m great business and engineering school. You need stellar grades to get accepted. You education will be very important, go to class and get good grades, it matters.

Meh, I've got an 80k college fund. Not worried about tuition.

I'll be renting an apartment from my uncle and also working for the construction company he owns while I'm going to school there.

Thanks. My GPA was 3.something and I got a 31 on the ACT

My advice to anyone trying to choose a college is to visit the campus. You will want to take a pen and pad to keep notes on. Now the key is to keep track of all the hot chicks at each college. While the chick to dude ratio is important, the college with the most hot chicks wins.

Went on a college visit. Am going again in two weeks to really work out details.

Not worried about the chicks. I plan to take my girlfriend to Iowa with me. Her family is ok with it

You may get away with working while you're taking GE stuff, but even then, I don't recommend it. When you start your major courses, I guarantee work will not be an option. I went for comp sci, I was with mechanical and electrical engineering major in the lab all day. Being focused and making sacrifices, personal and financial, is how you excel in these fields. If I were you, I would only work summers.

Now this guy know's what he's talkin' about right here!!

Remember American Pie?!

Already got one, rolled up in my left hand

pussy on my mind, tighter than a headband

Kush in my lungs, got ganja in my sweat glands

This shit I'm on, better than the next strand

Than the next strand, better than the next strand

She head down, booty poppin' in a handstand

I shine bright, I'll give your girl a slight tan

I make that pussy whistle like the Old Spice man

I don't even understand, why she'd ever want a man

If she ever throw it, I'd catch it like a cornerback

Like a cornerback, that's an interception

You think I give a fuck, that's a misconception

Oh what a night, oh what a night

The roof is on fire, so what? I'm high

I said, oh what a night, oh what a night

Yeah she a bad bitch, all jokes aside
