alum coil needs a 3500 and tune the box 35Hz or higher. Will be louder and still hit the lows just fine...

Cut your port down and tune higher.....Like mlstrass said.

The suspension on those can handle playing quite a bit under tuning freq. You'll get a bit more out of the sub that way.

With that power, I would have gone with the copper coil version.

But over all, not bad for a first build at all. Nice job man.
