Check my design

So I designed a ported box that I'm going to build, it'll be my first box. Any comments or suggestions to make the design better would be appreciated.

It is designed for a Hertz HX 300D

30"x13.5"x9.5"

1.29ft^3 then sub displaces about .1 ft^3 so it ends up being a little less than 1.2ft^3

Hertz recommends 1.23ft^3 optimal

It is tuned to 35hz

I played around and made it in google sketch also

Okay well I reworked it, had to make the box a little bigger, but the end box volume ended up being even better. and got the port area up to 24. Will this be sufficient?

port noise should be last of your worries....dont think that calculator is correct...i know plenty of people who have had conflicting things to say about that RE calc being off. my port area isnt near 30 and i have no port noise what so ever....just depends on how good of a builder you are and how well the box is sealed up.

Can anybody check the dimensions on that last design for me though to see if it will work? Or at least give me the formulas to.
