Cd player Problem

How do you have the factory amp turn on wired? Did you wire the amp remote turn on wire into the power antenna wire? If you did when ever you switch the scorce to CD the power antenna wire no longer outputs voltage.

im new at this so i dont really know , the head unit was already in there i just added subs and an amp and the rem.

Ok well your amp remote turn on wire is hocked up to power antenna wire and thats why you get no sound. Now the harness that ypu use for that car comes with a seperate remote turn on harness that you have to pin in the harness to use, and who ever installed the radio never installed it. (It was not an error on the installer it just was not needed for what the person was doing) To save you a bunch of time just cut the power antenna turnon wire at the radio havess and tap it into your acc wire (the red wire). You can test this as well before you do it to make sure it works but take a shot piece of wire and tap it into your amp turn on wire and the other end into the acc wire (red wire). If it works (which it shold then just follow the direction I gave you. Please, please make sure you use electrcal tape on your connection. Do not leave bare wire exposed.
