Car Audio Schools

There is more to a business than just learning how to do customization and installation. There is also the business side of it. If you plan on starting a store you need to go all in on it. Most small car audio businesses don't last. A good business usually takes alot of money to get started. You need to go to: http://www.sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/index.html and make sure that it is something that you really want to do. Like someone has already said, most people buy from ebay or online stores now and if people are the same there are they are here...they won't spend any money on custom installation.
I already have got the finacial source taken care of I have someone willing to drop 500,000 to help me get it off the ground and build me a custom shop/store

If I were you I would check around at the local shops in your area and really see how their business is doing. There is no need to ask them because they will always tell you business is good even if it isn't. Drive by often and see how many cars are sitting out front and how many are in the installation bays. If there aren't many at the local shops it is a sign that they don't stay busy.

I have looked at the one business that is here in town besides best buy and they are making so much money that they are having to expand there building..... thats one reason why I thought about getting into this business and plus I am in love with cars and mobile electronics

You need to start off with a business plan either way though. If someone is willing to drop that kind of money you really better be serious about it. You will also need to find other installers to work with you and at least 1 person up front running the store.

that might be enough to build the building, are you buying the lot where your building is going to be built.
The 500k is just for starting up he is building the building and giving me the land for free. It is right next to a freeway exit and near most of the major car dealerships like BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Chevy,Toyota and Honda

Honestly I would love nothing more to have my own shop...but even if someone was going to front me the money...I still wouldn't do it...not around here anyway. Just not enough money in it. I've got a year left on my electronics degree. I'll probably end up going sometime this spring or summer to the Installer Institute but mainly just to pick up on some tips and tricks
