I already have got the finacial source taken care of I have someone willing to drop 500,000 to help me get it off the ground and build me a custom shop/storeThere is more to a business than just learning how to do customization and installation. There is also the business side of it. If you plan on starting a store you need to go all in on it. Most small car audio businesses don't last. A good business usually takes alot of money to get started. You need to go to: http://www.sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/index.html and make sure that it is something that you really want to do. Like someone has already said, most people buy from ebay or online stores now and if people are the same there are they are here...they won't spend any money on custom installation.
You need to start off with a business plan either way though. If someone is willing to drop that kind of money you really better be serious about it. You will also need to find other installers to work with you and at least 1 person up front running the store.I already have got the finacial source taken care of I have someone willing to drop 500,000 to help me get it off the ground and build me a custom shop/store
The 500k is just for starting up he is building the building and giving me the land for free. It is right next to a freeway exit and near most of the major car dealerships like BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Chevy,Toyota and Hondathat might be enough to build the building, are you buying the lot where your building is going to be built.
couldnt agree more!school or not. your better off working at a shop/s for a long time before you decide to open anything for your self. having some willing to drop that much cash, is not the best idea.
because we live in teh real world.jesus christ everybody has connections. why doesn't someone come to me with a piece of land and 500k?
This is the real world i have a written contract saying that the land and 1.5 million for the building and 500k have all been laid aside for my use in starting up a mobile electronics shop/storebecause we live in teh real world.
